Fruits are usually the last thing on everyone’s mind when it comes to building muscles but fruits can only not help build muscle they also prevent the body from burning muscle for fuel.



Here are some fruits to help build muscles.

Banana:
You need potassium to build protein and muscle, and one fruit that can help reach your potassium needs is a banana, an average adult needs about 4700mg potassium in a day.

Pears:
You need carbs for energy, and if you do not get enough carbs your body starts burning muscle for energy so, you include a high-carbohydrate food like pears in your diet.

Grapes:
Grapes are also rich in carbohydrates, carbs are a major micro nutrient in are critical in a muscle-building diet.

Mangoes:
Load up on antioxidant rich fruits like mangoes to protect your muscles and help them grow.

Apples:
Rich in carbohydrates and carotenoids apples can be a great option for a post workout snack, this fruit provides you with the necessary nutrients your body needs for building and replenishing.

Oranges:
Vitamin C to fight diseases, magnesium to lower blood pressure, anti-oxidant beta-carotenes, etc, quit drinking processed orange juice which often has added sugars so eat oranges or make your own orange juice.

Berries:
Strenuous exercises can cause chemical reactions that can damage your cells, so you need to add an antioxidant supplement daily so load up on berries for vitamin C and flavonoids.
