Photos: Arik Air Workers Protest

Aviation unions on Thursday, shut down Arik Air operations in protest of the failure of the airline’s management to reinstate sacked workers.



The National Union of Air Transport Employees, Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers had on Wednesday threatened a showdown with the airline.

On Thursday, the workers barricaded Arik Air’s office at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
