2017 Budget Passes Second Reading In Senate

The 2017 Budget on Thursday passed its Second Reading in the Nigerian Senate.
Committees will now begin the budget defense process from next week.



Senators on Wednesday gave their views on areas they feel the Executive Arm of Government needs to focus on if the nation is to attain some level of socio-economic development.

Some of the areas the senators want the government to prioritise are infrastructure and agriculture.
