The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, said the refinery in Kaduna will commence production before next week and will ease the biting fuel crisis across the country, Channels TV reports.
During a monitoring tour of fuel stations in the federal capital, the Head of Corporate Affairs of the Corporation, Garba Deen, said over 240 trucks of petrol were delivered in Abuja on Tuesday.
He added: “more vessels are being discharged in Lagos for supply across the country.
“The situation is improving and the queues are expected to disappear by the end of the week, adding that efforts must be made to deter diversion and hoarding to sustain any gains made to quell the situation.”
