A mischievous Egyptian has put his country’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi up for sale on eBay and boy did the bids fly! Over 100 bids were put in for the President before the listing was taken down.
The seller wrote on the listing “The field marshal himself stated that if selling himself will help, he will not hesitate to do it. So, we are doing it for him, for us and for the humanity,”
Al-Sisi has become increasingly unpopular in Egypt after a series of authoritarian measures and arbitrary arrests. He came to power through a coup that ousted Mohammed Morsi and his government is allegedly carrying out plans to spy on Egyptians.
