Woman whose husband bought dog with her CS money gets millions of naira

A new mother who was abandoned by her husband after he misused funds aimed for her caesarean section (CS), has received an outpour of support from kind-hearted Nigerians.

The woman, who shared her story on X, was left stranded after her husband used N180,000 from the N500,000 donated by a good Samaritan to buy a new phone and a dog.

In an update, the new mother expressed her gratitude, stating that she has received triple the amount she requested, exceeding her bank’s transaction limit.

She wrote, “I’m short of words… I’ve raised thrice the needed amount until my Palmpay can’t receive funds anymore due to transaction limits. Dear kind-hearted Nigerians, I don’t know where to start thanking you. Please, it’s enough; it’s too much for me to process. Thank you so much.”

The generous donations have left the young mother overwhelmed with gratitude, highlighting the kindness and compassion of Nigerians who came together to support her in her time of need.
